Description of Significance ONE OF THE OLDEST BUILDINGS IN DURANT, THE J.L. WILSON BUILDING IS ALSO ONE OF THE BEST PRESERVED. CONSTRUCTED IN 1901, THE BUILDING FEATURES NATIVE STONE SIDE WALLS AND A PRESSED-TIN FACADE. THE DECORATIVE TIN CORNICE FEATURES A CLASSICAL MOTIF. LISTED IN NATIONAL REGISTER 4/20/82.
